2-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse Cake

Ingredients

  • Apples (4)
  • Dark chocolate (250g)
  • Vanilla extract (splash, optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Peel four apples, cut into chunks, and boil in boiling water until very soft, about 15 minutes.
  2. 2Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate using a double boiler method, or a microwave.
  3. 3Strain the water from the apples and add them to a blender jar.
  4. 4Add the melted (cooled down) chocolate and a splash of vanilla extract (optional) to the blender jar.
  5. 5Blend until completely smooth.
  6. 6Pour the mixture into a lined cake tin and refrigerate overnight.
  7. 7Top with cocoa powder, chopped hazelnuts, or anything else.

Tips

  • *Melting chocolate can be done either with a double boiler or in the microwave
  • *Adding melted chocolate on top can make cutting the cake difficult, so it's better to use other toppings like cocoa powder and hazelnuts.
