Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Ingredients

  • Butter - 115g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs
  • Egg yolks - 2 pcs
  • Chocolate - 165g
  • Sugar - 60g
  • Flour - 15g
  • Cocoa - 10g
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1Melt chocolate and butter in a water bath.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, combine eggs, yolks, salt, and sugar.
  3. 3Mix the egg mixture with a mixer until pale and fluffy.
  4. 4Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Mix gently.
  5. 5Add flour and cocoa into the mixture. Combine gently with a mixer.
  6. 6Grease cake forms with butter and pour the chocolate mixture into them.
  7. 7Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  8. 8Bake for 7-10 minutes, until crust has formed on top.
  9. 9Serve with a scoop of ice cream.

Tips

  • *Chocolate should not be hot otherwise the eggs will cook.
  • *It is important to mix the ingredients together gently to avoid overmixing.
