Gulasch Halb und Halb

Ingredients
- 1 kg Rinderkeule
- 1 kg Schweinekeule
- 800 g Zwiebeln
- 3 Knoblauchzehen
- Abrieb einer Zitrone
- 3 EL Tomatenmark
- 3 EL Paprikapulver
- Salz
- Pfeffer
- Pflanzenöl zum Anbraten
Instructions
- 1In a heated pot with oil, sear the beef and pork until nicely browned on all sides. Do not stir too much; rather let the meat roast.
- 2Add the garlic and onions. Sauté the onions until translucent and slightly browned.
- 3Add salt, pepper, and paprika powder, and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- 4Add the tomato paste and the lemon zest.
- 5Add water so all is really well benetzt.
- 6Put the lid on, turn down the heat, so that the dish only gently simmers and cook for 1 hour and 45 minutes,
- 7The onions are cooked and have blended with the sauce. The beef and pork should be tender.
Tips
- *Feel free to add fresh mushrooms or peppers.
