Beef Pares

Ingredients
- beef shin
- garlic
- red onion
- butter
- bay leaves
- spring onion
- five spice
- beef stock
- soy sauce
- oyster sauce
- fish sauce
- corn starch
- rice
- liquid seasoning
- dried red chilies
- brown sugar
- fried onions
- noodles
Instructions
- 1Cut the beef into small pieces. Brown in a frying pan and set aside.
- 2Mince garlic in food processor.
- 3Cook minced garlic until golden brown in frying pan.
- 4Finely chop red onion.
- 5Add chopped red onion, butter and bay leaves to garlic in frying pan.
- 6Add five spice, beef stock, browned beef pieces, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours.
- 7Mix corn starch with a little water and add to frying pan.
- 8Cook rice and sauté with minced garlic and liquid seasoning in a pan.
- 9Use food processor to mince garlic and dried red chilies.
- 10In a pan, sauté the garlic chili mixture. Add oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, liquid seasoning and fried onions. Cook until thickened.
- 11Add noodles to a bowl and cover with the simmered beef. Top with spring onions.
- 12Serve with the garlic rice and spoon the garlic chili mixture on top.
