Butter Paneer

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer
  • Butter
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 red chilies
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 12 to 15 cashews
  • 1 1/2 tomato, diced
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Red chili powder
  • Corona powder
  • Coriander leaves
  • Kasuri methi

Instructions

  1. 1Dice paneer into cubes.
  2. 2Fry the diced paneer with butter, salt, turmeric, and red chili powder. Fry until golden brown and set aside.
  3. 3Soak cashews in warm water and blend together with diced tomatoes to create a smooth puree.
  4. 4For the curry base, give a tadka in butter with jeera, red chilies, green chilies, and onions.
  5. 5Fry the tadka with ginger garlic paste and basic masalas (salt, turmeric, red chili powder).
  6. 6Add the tomato-cashew puree to the tadka and cook.
  7. 7Add the fried paneer cubes and garnish with coriander leaves and kasuri methi.

Tips

  • *Use as much butter as you can without counting calories.
