Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • Unsalted butter 113 g | 4 oz (1 US stick)
  • Powdered sugar 250 g | 8.8 oz (2 US cups)
  • Salt 1/8 tsp
  • Cream cheese 226 g | 8 oz (1 US block)
  • Vanilla 1/2 - 1 tsp (Optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Whip butter and powder sugar.
  2. 2Mix on low speed.
  3. 3Whip at medium to medium high speed until it looks fluffy.
  4. 4Clean a bowl and pedal on the way.
  5. 5Add cream cheese.
  6. 6Mix at high speed until it looks smooth.
  7. 7Whip at medium speed until it gets fluffy enough

Tips

  • *Store it in a fridge in airtight container for up to 5-6 days.
  • *To make a little bit stiffer buttercream, add unsalted butter 226 g | 8 oz (2 US sticks) and pinch of salt.
