Dark Chocolate Brownies with Cashews

Ingredients

  • 1 large dark chocolate bar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Chop dark chocolate into pieces.
  3. 3Melt chocolate using a double boiler.
  4. 4Melt butter using a double boiler
  5. 5In a bowl, combine melted chocolate and melted butter.
  6. 6In a separate bowl, combine flour, chopped chocolate pieces and cashews.
  7. 7In another bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; whisk.
  8. 8Add egg mixture to chocolate mixture; whisk.
  9. 9Add flour mixture to the batter; mix well.
  10. 10Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  11. 11Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out slightly gooey.
  12. 12Let cool, then cut into squares.
