Ingredients
- Multipurpose flour 5kg
- Water 4400g~4500g (minus 1050g from the following)
- Milk 900g
- Margarine 100g
- Yeast water 50g (total 1050g of liquid to be removed from the total water amount)
- Powdered yeast 4g~5g or fresh yeast 10g (for 5kg flour)
Instructions
- 1Choose a drill with a propeller or pinwheel attachment.
- 2In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, milk, margarine, and water (adjust water based on desired consistency).
- 3Manually mix with a spatula before using the drill mixer.
- 4Mix the dough with the drill for 10-15 minutes.
- 5Cover and let the dough rest for 4 hours if using powdered yeast, or 6-8 hours if using fresh yeast.
- 6Refrigerate for two hours before using the dough.
Tips
- *When using a drill, it is recommended to use a round propeller attachment. The drill is used to knead the dough, instead of kneading by hand.
- *When using a pinwheel attachment, the mix may splash.
- *For a faster rise, place bowl with dough on an electric heating pad. Do not overheat or kill the yeast.
- *Wrap the bowl securely with a plastic bag to create a seal
