Ingredients

  • Pasta (penne) 1 pound
  • Onion 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Garlic 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato paste 3 tablespoons
  • Heavy cream 1 cup
  • Bacon 1/4 cup, cooked and chopped
  • Italian seasoning 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. 2While pasta cooks, sauté onion and garlic in a large pan until softened.
  3. 3Add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. 4Pour in heavy cream and stir in bacon, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. 6Drain pasta and add to the sauce.
  7. 7Stir to combine.
  8. 8Top with mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley.
  9. 9Serve immediately.
